In October 2024, Polina contacted us for help in obtaining a No lucrativa residence permit. Income from rental property, along with some savings, allowed her to obtain a temporary residence permit through the consulate.

1. Document Preparation

On October 12, 2024, we had our first call with an expert, during which we analyzed her financial situation, type of income, and preferences for submission timing. We agreed on which documents would suit her case specifically. We started preparing the submission to the consulate in Moscow:

  1. Provided precise instructions for obtaining an apostilled criminal record certificate,
  2. Arranged medical insurance that met residence permit requirements,
  3. Drafted a motivation letter and cover letters for bank statements to explain the source of income,
  4. Filled out questionnaires and all consulate forms.

We sent all necessary documents to sworn translators.

2. Submission

Date: November 4, 2024

3. Approval Receipt

Date: February 2, 2025

Polina visited the consulate to receive her passport with the visa sticker. We coordinated her arrival date in Spain to promptly schedule her biometrics appointment and card collection.

4. Fingerprinting and Residence Card Collection

On February 19, 2025, Polina went for fingerprinting in Spain. On March 26, 2025, she had the card in hand!

For those who want to take a year off work and enjoy the pleasant climate, the Spanish residence permit without work authorization is the perfect option!
