9Artem is a financial consultant who decided to obtain a Digital Nomad residence permit in Spain. The preparation and submission process went smoothly, as his case met the standard requirements for self-employed digital nomads.
1. Document Preparation
Duration: 1.5 months
Since the applicant was arriving in Spain through another EU country, he needed to sign an entry declaration. As the completion of all forms and declarations is included in the “Standard Support” package, we prepared this document for him in advance. He only needed to print and sign it at airport control.
After arriving in Spain, Artem paid the fees through an ATM, and we submitted his residence permit application.

4. Fingerprinting and Residence Card Receipt
After receiving approval, we prepared all necessary documents and fees for fingerprinting at the police station. The appointment was scheduled for June 19, but due to a technical system failure at the police station, the applicant had to return on another day – June 28, 2024. The residence card itself was received without delays.
3. Autónomo Registration and Social Security Registration
Artem decided to register as self-employed (autónomo) in Spain with our assistance. We prepared all documents, and the applicant only needed to sign them.

4. Digital Signature (Certificado Digital) Obtainment
Digital signature receipt date: November 28, 2024
At the end of October, Artem contacted us to obtain a Spanish digital signature, necessary for working with documents in Spain. We started the process, but due to flooding in Valencia, the procedure was slightly delayed.
Now Artem has everything necessary to live in Spain and conduct his business legally!
