FAQ

Answering the big questions

We file your application from inside Spain, so you get a full 3-year residence permit right away — renewable, with a direct path to permanent residency and citizenship. It is faster and better value than the consular route, and we handle the entire submission with our own digital signature, no consulate visit needed.
You need to earn at least 200% of the Spanish minimum wage (SMI). As of March 2026 that means €2,849/month for a single applicant, €3,918 for a family of 2, €4,274 for a family of 3, plus €357 for each additional family member.
The application is reviewed within 20 working days. Booking a fingerprint appointment takes up to 30 calendar days, and producing the plastic card takes up to 30 more. On average the whole process takes about 2–3 months.
The permit is issued for 3 years straight away, then renewed for another 2. We apply from inside Spain so you get the full three-year permit at once instead of a short-term status.
Yes. Your spouse and children can move with you. They can apply together with you (even if they are not in Spain yet) or after your permit is approved. We handle the whole family in one application.
Yes, as long as you have been with your current company for at least 3 months and the company has existed for over a year. On top of the core documents you will need: your employment contract, proof the company exists, a letter confirming your remote work and salary, proof of 3+ years of experience or a degree, private health insurance valid in Spain, and a social security certificate from the Russian Social Fund (SFR).
Yes, if your self-employed status has been active for at least 3 months and you have contracts with regular clients whose companies have existed for over a year. You will need your business registration certificate, proof that your client companies exist, the contracts themselves and proof of 3 years of experience. The SFR certificate can be replaced by registering with the Spanish social security system.
No more than 20% of your income can come from Spain. The remaining 80% must come from foreign clients or a foreign employer.
The exact rate is calculated individually — it depends on your income, family situation and sources. Spain has a progressive scale plus a special flat-rate option (the Beckham tax regime); our tax lawyer will work out which is better for you. We run both scenarios before you move, help you optimise taxes legally — and the consultation is on us.
No — renewing the permit no longer requires spending 183 days a year in Spain. You do, however, need to keep up with your tax obligations and social security contributions.
Once your application is filed, you receive a document that lets you stay in Spain legally even after your Schengen visa runs out. We do recommend not leaving the country during this period.
Yes. After 5 years of residence you can apply for permanent residency, and after 10 years — for Spanish citizenship. We stay with you after the permit is issued: renewals, permanent residency and beyond.
A refusal does not affect future applications. You can appeal, or rebuild the document package and reapply. On our Full Service plans we work until you get the result — and refund our fee if the refusal was our fault, with the terms fixed in the contract.
