Jurado translation (traducción jurada) is an official translation performed by a sworn translator accredited in Spain. It is required in cases where documents in a foreign language are submitted to Spanish official bodies.
Jurado translations are required for:- Documents for residence permits (certificates of no criminal record, extracts from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs, etc.)
- Academic documents (diplomas, certificates, transcripts with grades)
- Legal documents (birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce certificates)
- Financial documents (tax returns, in some cases - bank statements)
- Apostille (for Hague Convention countries) is placed in the country where the document was issued.
- Consular legalization is required if the country is not a member of the Hague Convention.
Jurado translations are performed by sworn translators registered with the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We cooperate with translators who work with languages such as Russian, English, Serbian, Greek, Italian and others.
