1. Preparation for submission

After her husband received his residence permit, Anna decided to join him in Spain. We chose the option of adding a family member through visa D. We started our work on March 19, 2025.

After collecting the necessary package of documents, receiving signed forms and paid fees, we submitted the dossier for consideration, without Anna’s physical presence in Spain

2. Document submission

Submission date: April 8, 2025

3. Additional request

Date of additional request: May 5, 2025

On May 5, an additional request came in: to provide bank statements for the last 3 months and payslips. After receiving them, we made a free translation into Spanish and sent the response on May 7.

3. Approval

Date of approval: May 8, 2025

4. Submission of documents for visa D

Date of submission: June 6, 2025

We scheduled Anna’s appointment at the consulate for June 6, 2025 to submit the documents.

5. Additional request

Date of additional request: June 11, 2025

We received another request, but this time from the consulate: to certify the sworn translator’s digital signature. The signature of the translator, through whom the client independently translated the document, was handwritten, and not verified through the digital signature system, so we had to redo the translation through our translator.

6. Visa approval

Date of approval: July 11, 2025

7. Fingerprinting

Date of fingerprinting: July 24, 2025

Since we made the appointment for fingerprinting in advance, there was no waiting. On July 24, Anna provided her fingerprints in Spain.

7. Receiving the residence permit card

Her card is almost ready now, and there is already an appointment for the end of August to pick up the document. Now the spouses will live together!
