Receiving the residence permit card

1. Preparation for submission

We began working on February 20, 2025. Victoria wanted to obtain a student visa to start her PhD studies in Spain. During the process, there were difficulties with submitting documents and paying for university tuition. We arranged a call to help find and download the curriculum with the start date of studies and a list of subjects. We provided contacts of insurance agents for obtaining insurance, drafted and sent a letter to the university on her behalf to confirm payment, and prepared an appeal to the consulate, coordinating its text and content with Victoria. On March 31, 2025, we arranged another call for a final check of the document list before submission.

2. Document submission

Submission date: April 3, 2025

Victoria submitted the documents to the Spanish Consulate in Moscow.

3. Receiving approval

Approval date: April 15, 2025

Next, it was necessary to have the visa pasted into the passport. On May 12, 2025, Victoria was able to do this.

4. Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting date: May 22, 2025

The next stage was to get appointments for fingerprinting. There weren’t many available slots, so the spouses had to get fingerprinted on different days. We prepared the fingerprinting forms and TASA. However, on the day of the visit, there was a technical problem at the office, so Victoria had to wait for an officer’s call to clarify the card status. On May 30, the system started working again, and Victoria was given a document to track the readiness of her card.

5. Receiving the residence permit card

Card receipt date: July 4, 2025

Now Victoria has begun a new stage – studying for her PhD in Spain and living in a different country!
