The process of obtaining a residence permit can be divided into several stages:
  • Collecting documents and preparing business materials (on average, a month, we do it);
  • Arrive in Spain and apply online. If the necessary documents are prepared in advance, submission from Spain can be made in a few days. Then you can either stay in Spain while the application is being processed, or fly back;
  • Waiting for approval of the business plan (about 2 months);
  • Sign up for fingerprints and obtaining a residence permit card (about 2 months);
  • As a result, the whole journey to a residence permit can take 4-5 months.
Yes. After 5 years of living in Spain, it will be possible to apply for permanent residence, and in 10 years for a passport.
Yes, it is possible to leave, the main thing is to have a valid Schengen in order to return to Spain.
Requirements
  1. Lack of EU citizenship;
  2. Over 18 years old;
  3. No criminal record;
  4. The ability to enter Spain legally (any Schengen for any period);
Yes, immediate family members (spouse and minor children) will be able to obtain a residence permit. In order to add parents or adult children, you will need to prove their financial dependence on you.

For the main applicant:

  1. Police clearance certificate from the country of citizenship and countries where more than six months have been spent in the past 2 years;
  2. Financial guarantees. You will need to show the following amount on the bank statement: - for the main faunder: 31,752 euros; - for the wife/husband: + 11,907 euros (for the second family member; - per child +3,969 euros (for the third family member and beyond);
  3. Spanish health insurance for a year.

Per spouse:

  1. Marriage registration certificate;
  2. Police clearance certificate from the country of citizenship and countries where more than six months have been spent in the past 2 years;
  3. Financial guarantees — a statement from a foreign bank with an indication of the balance sheet. The balance must have a minimum of 31,752+ 11,907 euros;
  4. Spanish health insurance for a year.
