Svetlana contacted us on May 10, 2024, requesting assistance in obtaining a student visa to Spain

1. Language School Selection

On May 18, we helped her choose suitable language courses. We focused on price and location.

2. Document Collection

Our insurance agents helped arrange insurance, and Svetlana made the course payment with our assistance. As proof of accommodation, we included an AirBnB booking for one month and a cover letter explaining that long-term housing would be arranged after arrival.

We then drafted a letter to the consulate requesting login credentials for document submission. We prepared the application form in advance and helped gather all standard documentation: enrollment letter, payment receipt, insurance policy, and other required documents. Before her consulate visit, Svetlana received our recommendations, which helped her feel confident on submission day.

3. Submission

Date: June 24, 2024

4. Additional Request

On submission day, the consulate sent their first additional request – requiring a previous education diploma with Spanish translation. The next day, June 25, a second request came – they needed an electronic criminal record certificate and its translation, signed electronically by a sworn translator. We prepared both documents, including the diploma translation. On July 1, Svetlana submitted the missing documents to the consulate in person, without queuing.

Response date to additional request: July 1, 2024

5. Approval Receipt

Approval date: July 9, 2024

The result came quickly: on July 9, the visa was approved. On July 25, Svetlana visited the consulate for visa placement – it was issued with a start date of September 1, corresponding to the course start date.

6. Fingerprinting and Residence Permit Receipt

After arriving in Spain, Svetlana registered her residence, allowing her to submit fingerprints at any police station in the city. On October 21, she completed the fingerprinting procedure, and on November 13, 2024, she collected her student TIE card.
