Obtaining a residence permit within a month

Huge thanks to the team who worked with me. Everything was done in the best possible way. And even after the job was done, they didn’t leave me behind. It was a pleasure — clear, polite, and meticulous communication. Thank you for the residence permit in Spain :)

Autónomo registration and tax consultation arranged

Ekaterina reached out to us to arrange a Digital Nomad residence permit in Spain for herself.

On January 27, 2024, we started working with Ekaterina.

1. Document Preparation

We took full responsibility for preparing all the documents, including:

  1. filling out application forms,
  2. paying government fees,
  3. creating a CV based on her experience (Ekaterina didn’t have to write anything herself),
  4. sending the full package for sworn translation,
  5. handling basic translations ourselves — this was included in her service package.

At the same time, Ekaterina ordered:

  1. a tax consultation with a gestor to understand her quarterly obligations in Spain,
  2. a service to issue foreign bank cards via Freedom Finance — we helped with registration, app setup, and funding the account.

2. Submission

Submission date: February 26, 2024

3. Approval

Approval received on: March 19, 2024

Approval came without any additional document requests!

4. Receiving the Residence Card

It was a tough time for getting appointments (citas), but we managed to secure a slot for April 24.

After fingerprinting, Ekaterina received her residence card on May 29.

5. Opening Autónomo

We arranged another consultation about taxes and social contributions in Spain to update the calculations, now that she had the residence permit and more questions had accumulated.

On July 23, 2024, we initiated the process of registering her as an autónomo.

On July 25, the gestor successfully registered Ekaterina as self-employed in Spain.
