Igor reached out to us to get a Digital Nomad visa for Spain.

Igor chose the “Submission with Verification” package, which meant he collected all documents independently while we only verified the package and provided recommendations for corrections. We started work on November 28, 2024.

1. Document Preparation

In December, a wave of additional requests for work experience verification began, and we warned Igor that government documents with apostille confirming work experience or education were being widely required. There were two options:

First: Get an apostille on his higher education diploma. Second: Postpone submission until January-February hoping requirements would ease (similar situation occurred in October 2023 and lasted about a month).

Igor decided not to take risks and get an apostille on his diploma. He ordered sworn translation of documents from us. The rest of the document package was standard for those working with Russian contractors.

2. Submission

Submission date: February 8, 2025

3. Approval Receipt

Approval date: February 24, 2025

Approval was received without additional requests.

4. Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting date: March 3, 2025

His package didn’t include post-approval support, but Igor decided to purchase an additional package that included police appointment scheduling and document preparation for fingerprinting.

5. Residence Card Receipt

Card receipt date: March 19, 2025

On March 19, we informed him that his residence card was ready, and he picked it up the same day.

Happy client — we’re happy too!
