An integrated approach is the key to success

I was choosing between several agencies, but El Relocator had the best price-to-service ratio. We started in autumn '23 with planning, prepared and translated the necessary document package, and obtained visas. Individual chat support, great assistance almost any time of day or night -> not a single document failure, for a family of four with a non-trivial work scheme, everything went through on the first try! Today we have a three-year teletrabajador permit in hand. Special thanks to Alena for pushing couriers with documents, handling ruble payments, and everything else.

The family reached out to us to secure a Digital Nomad residence permit for everyone in Spain.

The work began on December 1, 2023

1. Collecting Documents for Schengen Visa

The primary task was obtaining Schengen visas for the whole family. Initially, we considered applying in Armenia, but the plans changed, and it was decided to apply from Russia. We supervised the entire document collection process: from creating itineraries to writing necessary letters.

On January 22, 2024, the family made an appointment at the Spanish Visa Center.

2. Schengen Visa Application

Date: January 26, 2024

3. Schengen Visa Receipt

Date: February 5, 2024

By February 5, the passports were ready, and the visa was valid from March 10 to March 17, 2024 — exactly during the required entry dates.

4. Collecting Documents for Residence Permit

Simultaneously, preparation for the Digital Nomad residence permit application was underway. We provided detailed instructions on how to prepare the correct employment certificate for submission.

Although the criminal record certificate from Georgia was ready, 5 days before the intended submission, the UGE platform stopped accepting Georgian certificates without legalization. We made a quick decision — not to include the certificate, as Alexander’s new passport had no records of residence in Georgia.

There was also a need to obtain an apostille for one document from Hungary. We provided detailed instructions for obtaining it. We then filled out applications for the whole family and arranged translations with a sworn translator.

5. Residence Permit Application

Date: March 13, 2024

6. Approval

Date: April 1, 2024

Approval was received without additional requests!

7. Fingerprinting and TIE Card Receipt

The next stage was fingerprinting. Due to the number of people (4), it wasn’t possible to schedule everyone for the same day, so the process took place in three stages: May 27, 28, and 31, 2024. During this time, the family obtained another Schengen visa and entered Spain — everything went according to plan.

On July 3 and 4, 2024, the whole family received their resident cards.
