5We began assisting Alexander on September 26, 2023. The main goal was to obtain a digital nomad residency and then reunite the family.
1. Document Preparation
Alexander obtained the digital nomad residency through the standard procedure. On January 18, 2024, he was registered as an autónomo, and by January 24, he had confirmation of his registration. Once his family arrived in Spain, we moved on to the main step — submitting the family reunification application under his residency. This step turned out to be easier: family members face fewer document requirements. We:
- updated invoices and bank statements,
- ordered police clearance certificates (obtained on behalf of the client),
- pre-filled application forms,
- prepared payment slips.

4. Residence Card Collection
Summer is always a tricky time for fingerprint appointments, but we managed to secure a slot for July 27. We prepared:
- fingerprinting forms,
- proof of fee payments.
On July 28, the entire family received their residence cards.
